Mother's Day

On Mother's Day, Aaron's family came over for a barbeque dinner, and we enjoyed spending time with Grandad Jensen. Here all the Jensen grandchildren pose together (Rachel, Logan, & Natalie).

Mommy and Rachel enjoy a Saturday afternoon nap together while listening to the last Harry Potter book on CD. This was actually a bit staged, but isn't it cute!

Grandma Mary

Two weeks ago we attended my Grandma Mary's funeral. She was a fantastic lady and was a wonderful example of Christlike love and service. She was always thinking of others and was always willing to share her green punch and ding-dongs. It was so neat to hear how she had touched different people's lives as my brothers, my mom, my niece, and my cousins spoke at her funeral. We'll miss you Grandma!! You're in our hearts always! I realized Rachel will carry a part of Mary with her, even though she'll never know her personally while on this earth. How cool!

Thumbsucker Extraordinare!

Rachel is a thumbsucking pro! She used to like her binky, but about six weeks ago decided her thumb tasted better. Now she can calm herself without Mommy or Daddy's help. How nice! She also tried out riding Mommy's old stuffed lion, without much success. Mommy had a hard time making sure Rachel didn't fall off the lion and taking the picture at the same time.
